This summer I was lucky enough to photograph the awesome Indian wedding celebrations between Donna & Vikesh at the impressive Merchant Taylors Hall in the centre of London. After shooting Vikesh and his groomsmen get ready at The Grange hotel overlooking St Paul's cathedral the rest of the day was spent at Merchant Taylors Hall. A wedding day full of colour, love and laughter providing so many great picture opportunities and memories!! Congratulations to Donna & Vikesh!!
Caswell House is a beautiful historic 15th century manor house with stunning medieval barns set in the heart of the Oxfordshire Cotswolds. It proved to be the ideal venue for Katie and Dan to tie the knot in front of their friends and family. The whole day was spent at the venue from bridal and groom prep through to the crazy dancing in the evening. Autumn is a fantastic time of year and I was easily able to find some great backdrops for some cool shots. It was a truly awesome wedding made even better by a super friendly couple and great guests!
I absolutely loved shooting Holly & Vincents big day in Henley on Thames. I met up with Holly and the girls at her home address to shoot the finishing touches of bridal prep. It's funny how some brides show signs of nerves, others rushing about here, there and everywhere but Holly was a picture of calm, so relaxed and chilled out! The wedding ceremony was held at the Sacred Heart church before we all hopped in our cars for the 5 minute journey to the Phyllis Court Club, Riverside Pavilion. With views of the River Thames on one side and gorgeous green bowling grounds on the other it was a superb location for a summer wedding!
It's fab when a groom says " we're in your hands Kev, you're the pro " as we nip out to take some cool couple shots! Holly & Vincent were so easy to photograph and happy to completely trust me with their pictures! One of the nicest couples I have shot this year!

Autumn is my favourite time of year to shoot so I was excited to meet up with Kylie & Matt for their pre wedding shoot in Cheltenham. The town is known as the heart of the Cotswolds and you can see why. The light was on awesome on Sunday, so warm and rich making for great natural pictures! It also helped that Kylie & Matt were so friendly and chilled out! Cant wait to shoot their wedding next year! :-)
Last week I met up with James & Jennie at the Pittville Pump Rooms, Cheltenham for a fun filled engagement / pre wedding shoot before their big day next month! I would always advise a couple who are maybe not particularly comfortable having their picture taken to meet up for a shoot. It really helps to put a couple at ease. They see how I work and how relaxed and informal the picture taking process is! I never shout 'say cheese' so that must be a good thing :-)
Jack & Ellie are soon to be hitched so before the big day we took the opportunity to enjoy a fun engagement / pre wedding shoot in their home town of Tewkesbury, near Cheltenham. We found so many quirky buildings and cool little side streets to explore!
I had such a fun time today shooting HRH Princess Anne as she paid a special visit to The International Centre for Birds of Prey, Newent. The centre celebrated its 50th Anniversary and to mark the occasion put on a special show for the Princess Royal and other VIP's such as Bill Bailey.
I recently drove up to the medieval town of Tewkesbury to catch up with Thomas & Hilary before their wedding day next month. Despite the drizzly weather it didn't dampen our spirits as we strolled around the town taking fab shots on their pre wedding shoot. Can't wait to shoot their big day at Tewkesbury Abbey!
After shooting Carl & Sams Indian wedding celebration in London I was lucky enough to photograph their full wedding at the amazing Ashridge House in Hertfordshire. It was a truly memorable wedding with perfect weather, great guests and a super friendly bride and groom!
So happy to blog the colourful Indian wedding celebration of Carl & Sam. The event was held in a marquee at Sam's parents house in London. It was a wonderful evening full of fun, laughter and colour!! Sam looked stunning wearing her traditional red Indian wedding dress with intricate henna on her hands while Carl looked every inch the dashing groom wearing his sherwani!
I'm so pleased to blog this super cool wedding between Mat & Grace. Their special day was celebrated at the amazing Asylum wedding venue and then onto the Town Hall Hotel in London for the reception. As a wedding photographer I couldn't have asked for more! A friendly chilled out couple, stylish cool venues as well as friendly family and friends that made me feel welcome! :-)
It's been a busy week for me photographing amongst other things a host of celebrity portraits! The Cheltenham Literature Festival is always an event I look forward to shooting. During festival week a huge variety of well known faces descend on the city to promote their latest book and give interesting talks.
This week was no different as I had the opportunity to meet and photograph Formula One legend Damon Hill, YouTube sensation DanTDM, former Labour Shadow Chancellor and current Strictly Come Dancing star Ed Balls, Alexander Armstrong and Richard Osman - the hosts of BBC TV show Pointless, Former Blue Pete presenter Janet Ellis MBE, English explorer and record holder Sir Ranulph Fiennes OBE, World renowned chef Raymond Blanc and interior designer Kelly Hoppen!
This summer I photographed some amazing weddings and the wedding of Amy & Robert at the lovely Blackbrook House in Derbyshire was right up there! I spent the majority of the morning shooting Amy getting ready in the bridal suite with her bridesmaids before focussing on Rob, the details and guests arriving. The wedding ceremony was outdoors in the hot summer sunshine. A nice touch from Amy & Rob was offering guests sun umbrellas to shield them from the scorching heat! The best mans speech was a classic with the arrival of a special guest! :-) There were plenty of great photo opportunities to be had especially as Amy & Rob were so relaxed and happy to put their trust in me. Thanks for your warm hospitality and making me feel so welcome! All the best for the future Amy & Robert! :-)
Last week I couldn't believe my luck when I photographed The Hoff!! When I came face to face with the TV legend in Cheltenham I felt like I was transported back in time sitting on my parents sofa watching one of my favourite TV shows..Knight Rider!! To my surprise Michael Knight...sorry ..David was much taller than expected. I'm tall at 6'1 but he was waaaay taller...maybe 6'4! He was a friendly chap but slightly reluctant to be photographed. After a little persuasion by yours truly he whipped off his disguise...a beanie hat....gave me his Hollywood smile and struck a pose!! In that brief fleeting moment it felt like he had suddenly morphed into a super hero!! I only wish he had Kitt with him!
I've shot a lot of weddings over the years but Charlie & Ollie must be two of the most happy and charming people I have met! I started the day at Charlies parents house to photograph the bridal prep. I was immediately struck how calm and relaxed it was, Charlie was sipping champagne, hair in rollers having a natter with her bridesmaids! :-) . I was made to feel incredibly welcome and part of the team! After drinking two cups of tea and capturing some great moments I headed over to Home Farm, Beachampton, near Milton Keynes where Ollie was getting ready.
The venue was amazing! I LOVE outdoor summer tipi weddings and this was right up there! The atmosphere was great, so chilled, relaxed and fun :-) The sun was shining and I got on doing what I do best..capturing all those fun candid moments. There were plenty of cool shots to be had around the venue with a lovely old barn and a huge willow tree to play with! A great day spent with great people! Congratulations Charlie & Ollie and thanks for letting me be a part of of it! :-)
A few weeks back I had the pleasure photographing the amazing wedding of Nichola & Richard. The day was so much fun starting with Nichola getting ready at her home in Cheltenham and being interrupted by her Dad calling to ask for insurance advise! :-)..what better time to get your insurance sorted out! The ceremony and reception was held at Hatherley Manor Hotel on the Cheltenham/Gloucester border. It was a fab day and even a little bit of rain didn't get in the way as we still managed to get outside to make the most of the great surroundings! Congratulations Nichola & Rich and all the best for the future!! :-)

The great adventurer Sean Conway recently completed a 400 mile GB coastline triathlon, he is also an ambassador for Ride Social, Britains biggest social community, designed by British cycling to help people find like minded cyclists so they cycle together. Pic of Sean and the amazing British wheelchair athlete Mel Nicholls before they set off today for their bike ride!
I had a fun time on a recent assignment down in Portsmouth. Bella Italia management were abseiling down the Spinnaker tower to raise funds for Dreams Come True, their chosen charity for the year. There was also special guest appearances from the Minions and also youtube sensations Sapphire and Skye. It was a great day with awesome weather thrown in! Congratulations to all of the participants! Today I met Connie, a truly inspirational lady who was celebrating her 105th birthday at Brockworth House Care Home..yes I said 105th!! :-) It was amazing to watch Connie sing songs, knock back glasses of wine and get emotional opening her birthday cards including one from the Queen and prime minister. Happy Birthday Connie!!
